Disclaimer & Privacy Policy

HospIQ Consulting provides independent hospitality quality assurance, property evaluation, mystery guest, and operational consulting services. Our evaluations are intended to provide property owners and operators with an objective assessment of observable conditions, guest experience, cleanliness, presentation, maintenance concerns, and operational opportunities within the agreed scope of service.
HospIQ is not a government inspection agency, regulatory authority, code enforcement agency, health department, fire marshal, insurance adjuster, property appraiser, engineering firm, environmental testing company, or licensed trade contractor. A HospIQ evaluation does not constitute or replace an official inspection, regulatory approval, professional certification, appraisal, environmental assessment, engineering evaluation, or determination of legal or code compliance.
-
HospIQ evaluations are generally visual, operational, and non-invasive. Only areas reasonably accessible and included within the agreed scope are evaluated.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, HospIQ does not perform destructive testing, dismantle equipment, open walls or building systems, conduct laboratory testing, diagnose structural conditions, test for hazardous materials, or certify electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, environmental, accessibility, health, or building-code compliance.
Observations reflect conditions that were reasonably visible or otherwise encountered at the time of service. Conditions may change before or after an evaluation, and no inspection or assessment can identify every existing or future defect, hazard, maintenance issue, cleanliness concern, operational problem, or guest experience deficiency.
For larger properties, HospIQ may inspect a representative sample of rooms, units, sites, buildings, or operational areas when permitted by the agreed scope. Findings within a sample should not be interpreted as confirmation that identical conditions do or do not exist elsewhere on the property.
-
HospIQ may document visible conditions that appear to warrant additional attention, including apparent safety, maintenance, sanitation, pest, moisture, electrical, structural, or environmental concerns. Such observations are not professional diagnoses or certifications.
Conditions requiring specialized expertise should be evaluated by an appropriately qualified or licensed professional.
HospIQ is not an emergency response service. Immediate threats involving fire, gas, electrical hazards, structural instability, criminal activity, medical emergencies, or other imminent dangers should be reported directly to emergency services or the appropriate authority.
-
HospIQ reports and recommendations are intended to assist clients with operational decision-making. The client remains responsible for deciding what corrective actions to take, selecting qualified vendors or contractors, supervising repairs or improvements, training employees, and confirming that corrective actions have been completed appropriately.
HospIQ does not guarantee:
Increased revenue or occupancy
Higher online review scores
Improved guest satisfaction
Elimination of guest complaints
Prevention of property damage or injury
Regulatory or code compliance
Identification of every defect or deficiency
Specific operational or financial results
Hospitality performance is influenced by numerous factors outside HospIQ's control, including management decisions, staffing, property investment, market conditions, vendors, maintenance practices, guest expectations, pricing, and implementation of recommendations.
-
HospIQ reports are prepared for the client and purpose identified in the applicable service agreement, proposal, or booking confirmation.
A HospIQ report should not be represented as a governmental inspection, regulatory approval, certification, property appraisal, engineering report, environmental assessment, insurance inspection, or guarantee of property condition.
Reports may not be altered, selectively edited in a misleading manner, or misrepresented as representing conclusions HospIQ did not make.
If information on this website conflicts with an executed service agreement, approved proposal, or written scope of work, the applicable project agreement will control.

Important Notice: This website disclaimer and Privacy Policy are intended to describe HospIQ Consulting's general business practices and are not a substitute for the terms of an individual service agreement. -
HospIQ Consulting may use artificial intelligence and other automated technologies as tools to support certain administrative, analytical, reporting, and quality assurance functions.
AI-assisted tools may be used to help:
Organize inspection notes and observations
Summarize findings
Identify recurring themes or patterns
Assist with report formatting and drafting
Review written content for consistency and clarity
Categorize or prioritize documented findings
Support internal research, benchmarking, and workflow efficiency
Assist with website, marketing, and general business content
AI is used as a supporting tool and not as a substitute for professional judgment. Property evaluations, inspection observations, scoring decisions, recommendations, and final client deliverables remain subject to human review by HospIQ.
Human Review
HospIQ does not rely solely on artificial intelligence to conduct property evaluations or make final determinations regarding a property's condition, cleanliness, guest experience, maintenance priorities, or operational performance.
Physical observations are made through the applicable HospIQ service process, and material findings are reviewed before they are included in a final client report.
AI-generated or AI-assisted content may be corrected, revised, rejected, or supplemented when it does not accurately reflect the observed conditions or professional judgment of HospIQ.
Client and Property Information
When AI or automated technology is used, HospIQ takes reasonable steps to limit the information provided to those systems to what is reasonably necessary for the applicable business purpose.
HospIQ seeks to avoid unnecessarily entering highly sensitive information into AI systems, including:
Payment card information
Passwords or access credentials
Government identification numbers
Medical information
Confidential guest records
Confidential employee records
Other unrelated sensitive personal information
Clients are also responsible for securing confidential records, personal information, access credentials, and sensitive materials before an inspection or evaluation.
The treatment of information processed through third-party technology providers may also be subject to those providers' applicable privacy, security, and data-processing terms.
Photographs and Inspection Documentation
HospIQ may use technology-assisted tools to organize, review, categorize, or describe photographs and other inspection documentation.
AI-assisted analysis does not replace the underlying photographic evidence, physical observation, or human review of a finding.
Unless specifically disclosed and authorized for a particular purpose, HospIQ will not knowingly use AI to materially alter inspection photographs in a manner that misrepresents the condition of a property at the time of evaluation.
Automated Decisions
HospIQ does not use artificial intelligence as the sole basis for decisions that create legal, regulatory, employment, insurance, lending, or similar consequential determinations concerning a client, employee, guest, or property.
HospIQ reports are advisory quality assurance and consulting materials and should not be interpreted as automated regulatory determinations, governmental inspections, certifications, or legal findings.
Accuracy and Limitations
Artificial intelligence systems can produce incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information. For that reason, AI-assisted outputs are treated as working tools rather than independent sources of fact.
HospIQ remains responsible for reviewing material information included in its final client deliverables. Clients should contact HospIQ if they believe a report contains an error, inconsistency, or finding requiring clarification.
Transparency
HospIQ believes artificial intelligence should be used responsibly, transparently, and in a manner that supports rather than replaces professional judgment.
The purpose of using AI-assisted technology is to improve consistency, organization, efficiency, and the usefulness of client deliverables while preserving human oversight of the evaluation process.
Questions regarding HospIQ's use of artificial intelligence or automated technologies may be submitted through the Contact page at HospIQConsulting.com.
